Dr. Amy Iaquinta has been a chiropractic physician for more than 15 years and operated her own practice in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where she was voted “Best Chiropractor on Hilton Head Island” for two consecutive years by Hilton Head’s newspaper, The Island Packet.
Dr. Amy is certified in Upper Cervical Specific Technique and practices low-force adjusting that involves the use of an instrument called an arthrostim. The arthrostim is a highly effective, low-force alternative that has been used for more than 27 years. While it is extremely efficient in treating patients of any kind, it is a particularly good option for treating infants, young children, pregnant women and seniors who suffer from osteoporosis. This type of adjustment eliminates the need to "twist or crack" the spine.
In 1988, Dr. Amy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1993, she received her Post Baccalaureate in Pre-Med from Loyola University and, in 1996, completed her doctorate from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. Shortly after, Dr. Amy went on a chiropractic mission trip in Moldova, Russia where she utilized the Upper Cervical Specific Technique and provided chiropractic care to thousands of patients.
Dr. Amy currently resides in Glenview, Illinois with her two children. She also has a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo.
